Did I just say I love shoes?

I'm a big sucker in resisting gorgeous shoes, I already bought my wedding shoes, two pairs to be exact with different colours and models.

Mom was a bit annoyed with the fact that I'm gonna wear blue shoes on my wedding day, well, you can't really see them, can you? they're hiding under the dress anyway, right? so I bought a pair of off-white cutie from ebay (I won't reveal it until the D-day, but a hint is, it's a UK & USA edition only aaaand it's not your usual white wedding shoes with diamantes) and a pair of blue (I love BLUE that much). So there you go, it's a win win situation for her and me :) It's still my wedding after all, is it?

Will update with more gorgeous wedding shoes if I found more of them online :) wouldn't it be awesome if I could change my shoes every hour on my wedding day? Just to let everyone know that I love my shoes beside my husband? *big grin*

A princess has to wear the perfect shoes, doesn't she?

What I'm best at.

Gosh, how long i've been neglecting this blog and how long ive been longing to write? sigh ... I blame .... err .. err my daily routine aka work, go home, cleaning, more cleaning, ironing, choir, meetings, and sleep.

I don't even know what I've been doing so far, what I remember was these past 2 months just happened too fast for me. I even managed to go back to my lovely hometown, to J town and Singapore in just 4 days and managed to assemble all furniture in just a couple of weeks, moving in just a week and so on and so on.

Okay, maybe I need to sum up what happened in October and November.

What I clearly remember is purchasing and assembling furniture is absolutely not as easy as flipping your hand. As first time furniture buyers, it took us numerous visits to Ikea and other furniture shops and electronic shops as well ! To make things worse is, shops in Australia close at 5.30 - 6 pm daily except on Thursday nite when they have late night shopping until 9pm, which is not suitable for our situation because we work full time hours. Big SIGH. Tell me about last minute furniture shopping rush and furniture confusion, been there done that.

And what happened after purchasing those lovely furnitures? Of course in here, you have to assemble them by yourself. Now, don't even think we bought a huge ass house, nope, it's small lovely 3 bedroom unit, pretty small for an Australian house. We don't have a theatre room, a separate living and dining room, just a simple 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, a single living room house after all but it took us weeks to assemble a couch, 2 bed frames, a tv unit, a dining table, and don't even mention the cleaning part which involved washing the new dishes, cutleries, mopping and vacuuming.

I seriously thought I lost 10 kgs just by doing that every night, straight after work for 4-5 hours without dinner. But, no I didn't lose any kilos. another big SIGH.

Then I managed to have a quick weekend gateway to hometown, the capital city and Singapore, for a total of 4 cities in 5 days. With 5 flights, 2 delays, lack of sleeps, 40 kgs baggage, I am somehow amazed by my immunity system. Good thing was, Mum was with me :) for 17 days to help me moving in, also to fill in my kitchen cabinets full of cooking gadgets and homemade meals every single day prepared with love. Oh how I missed my mom's delicacies.

Starting from that month, cleaning and furniture shopping has never really ended. Plus the "unpacking from my previous house" part which also never ends. Lucky him, as he hasn't moved in yet, he has plenty of time to move his stuff one by one and he doesnt any due date to pack his stuff as twas his parents house.

So yeah, that's what life's been treating me for last 2 months, plus the ICYO's events, meetings, friends birthday dinners, farewells, and this month is the work's busiest month so I think there are too many things happening around me.

Summary in 4 words: I'm broke & I'm tired. Broke from buying those endless house-related stuff plus the bills and tired from my daily routine.

I wish 2012 would give me a chance to do what I am best at. BEING A PRINCESS. those beauty sleeps and shoe shopping.
