meeting

This evening, I met with Cha-Cha, a friend from Perth ( finally, an old face from the west ! ).
She's here for her job training thingy, and yeah we met for a dinner.
BUT

we had a short walk around QVB and TGV for window shopping
and took pictures ! heuheuhe, the mission won't be completed if we haven't taken any pics

We chose Japanese food for the dinner, since this restaurant is really really good !

SYO Concert: The Elements Review

The concert was held here, at 8 pm exactly and there were 3 sessions,
the first one was percussion instruments,
the second was wind instruments, and
finally the string instruments.
(too bad I could not take any photographs or record any videos )

I found it very interesting, since I've been to most of SSO (Surabaya Symphony Orchestra) concerts,
they played almost 20 (heavy) classical pieces for every concerts
and Yosi told me that most of the concerts she attended were only playing like 7-9 pieces.
One more interesting thing, without any notice or an MC, one the light turned off,
the audiences just stopped talking and no camera flashing !
but it went very well and no MCs ! that's brilliant !
( I'm sorry that was my first time I went to a concert without an MC,
there was even an MC
when I went to a Christmas concert at the Opera House a few years ago )

The best session for me ? the wind instruments session,
I just never had in my mind that they could actually make such beautiful rhymes !

SYO next project would be the WORLD YOUTH DAY mass
on SATURDAY VIGIL MASS (19 July 2008 )
and I can't be there !!! waaaaaaaaaaaaa
I miss this WYD thingy !
damn stupid expired visa,
'cos I've got to go back to perth
ASAP when I get my exam results
and apply for my TR visa !

Ouw she's changed a lot. She eats pasta and cheese now,
she knows the train routes and recognizing where to stop and which direction to go !
she relied on me 100% when she was in Perth so yeah, I am SURPRISED.

quick updates

I'm sorry for neglecting this blog and for not writing significant posts for this week ;p
so, just some quick updates about me :

1. had been working at RR (almost) full time this week, mon - fri from 9.30 - 4.30. and it had been my worst week ever ! I did most of the servicing all by myself. I took orders both from front and drive counter and making orders by myself. I was almost that near to go crazy. Many conflicts at RR, dita u missed lots and lots of stories !

2. me and odri swapped rooms ! since her sista is coming and needing a bigger room, so yeah I moved to odri's room and she got my master bedroom. I like her bedroom much better than my old one, i don't know why, it's just much roomy.

3. got my new camera, bought it from ebay last week and yaaay it's coming !

4. got my new mobile ( Dita, u missed this one as well, i got my viewty and u can get your shine! ). It's an LG KU990 viewty! yeay!

5. will be going to Sydney tommorow midnite for 3 weeks ! bye bye Perth!

I spent exactly an hour at Dome cafe, South Perth.
all by myself
reading the magazines
enjoying my choco milkshakes and the chips
hmm enjoying the cold weather and listening to the rain drops.
Life would be good, if every single day was just like this :)

live outside the circle

OH yeah, my life is undoubtly bored, too bored to be told. My daily circle is always
Red Rooster,home ( kitchen and my room, yeah i never watch the tv),
sometimes Abacus lab comp at uni,woolies or coles,
chicken rice karawara or hawker restaurant, church, choir practices
err maybe twice or three times THIS MONTH to city, once small visit to Carousel.

Every time I'd like to have a little cafe time, chit chat w/ friends.
THAT STUPID FARRELS CAFE, the one that I wanted to visit
since LAST YEAR was always CLOSED during my visit.
I found it very annoying, esp when u have all the spirit and
the joy to sip your coffee and enjoy your little cake

I WANT TO HAVE A LIFE !

I never go to late shoppings anymore,
I don't know what's the latest fashion style,
and I haven't bought a HANDBAG since DECEMBER'07.
That's a really bad sign !

I want to have a life !
Go out to the beach during winter, watch Perth at night from Kings Park,
late nite shoppings, trying some new food, trying new cafes,
go to Subiaco or Leederville or Claremont or Fremantle or whatever for late nite shoppings,
have bubble teas in any random nites.

I already have tiring weekdays and afterall, I only need one nice day. that's all.
I deserve it.

OH, thank God it's winter.

a grumpy old lady

I feel like one now, since this morning I guess. because of the headache. Literally since I woke up until now. and it's worse since I got this -almost- running nose. I guess this is only the -exam period syndrom-, you know when it's time to study hard and your brain's still needing a really long winter sleep. These two never gonna be friends together.

Today's highlight

1. Working for 7 hours on the drive thru counter, for the sake of double pay.

2. I took my plate, fresh from the oven with my naked hand. My 3 fingers are burned, as a result.

3. Still messed up with my presentation speech. ow great, groupmates don't expect too much from me for tomorrow's meeting. Hiks, i'll be having a meeting straight after working. hahaha. bare with my chicken smell, guys !

TIME FLIES

Ga kerasa within 2 weeks I'll have my final -final- exam ! I can still smell summer breeze but it's already winter now ! Within 2 months, hopefully, I'll be holding my bridging visa and I'm no more a student, hopefully I will get a proper job. I just can't believe it, time really flies. I can still remember exactly how hard it was, dealing to adjust my new life in perth but now i've been living here for almost 3 years.

MY FLAT SUNDAY

but I love it ! I (almost) have the same sunday everyweek, I wake up around 10am, have breakfast, take a bath, go to St. Benedict church for the 11.30 Indonesian mass, have chit chats with the fellows after the mass, have my lunch which ussually occurs in the city , a window shopping, go home, take a nap, doing nothing. It has become a routine in my life, i know it's boring but something's missing if I don't follow that plan. so, I LOVE IT !

BROWNIES + VANILLA ice cream = the BEST

I'm kinda addicted to bake brownies recently, and having it with vanilla ice cream would be the best dessert u'll ever have. err, put the brownies in the microwave first, make it warm and if you have hot choco syrup that would be better! and place the ice cream right next to the warm brownies ! believe me, u'll love it.

BUSINESS CAPSTONE

arggghh I don't know why it's stuck in my mind. I hate that unit, it's about a business simulation but it's more to accounting and finance prediction. ABSOLUTELY NOT IN MY INTEREST. but our group got the perfect mark thou, 35 out of 35! and we'll have this business presentation for next wednesday and my speech? still messed up. the only thing that interests me is the business attire that I must wear. that's the best thing happens in this unit.
